Today’s show is going to be a bit different, because we have Matt Hongoltz-Hetling making his second appearance on the show and we are talking about his first book, “A Libertarian Walks Into a Bear”, which went on sale on September 15th. Matt is an award winning, freelance Journalist. He has been a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Local Journalism, he has won the George Polk Award, and has been voted Journalist of the Year by the Maine Press Association. We cover several topics from his book including the intersection of the Libertarian philosophy and personal responsibility, the balance between the greater good of society/community and government overreach, and the perils of cat induced insanity. With all the craziness in the world right now, it was nice to get a change of pace. This was a fun conversation, about a great book!
