Day 340 of 15 days to flatten the curve

A House committee renewed the debate over federal reparations for descendants of slavery yesterday.  If the federal government uses tax money to pay some sort of reparations people in states that never allowed slavery and families that were not in the US before 1865 should be outraged.

The Committee for Responsible Federal Budget said that the House’s $1.9 trillion Wuhan Flu relief bill spends half of that money on non-pandemic issues.  Not to mention the billions of dollars from previous relief bills that are still unspent.

Biden said on January 20th that the Israeli leader would be the first foreign leader he called.  Yesterday, almost a month and a dozen head-of-state calls later, Biden finally spoke to Prime Minister Netanyahu.

China may be looking into stopping the export of rare earth minerals to the United States.  That could cripple the manufacturing of almost anything electric and electronic.
