The Autumn Equinox begins this Monday, September 23, 2019 just before 1 am on the West Coast.
The Autumn Equinox impacts the following three signs the most; Libra, Scorpio and Sagittarius. Why? Because the Equinox starts at Libra and the Autumn season moves through Scorpio and Sagittarius.
First off, you think you’re in the clear because your Sun sign is not Libra, Scorpio or Sagittarius, please reconsider this… everyone is all 12 signs of the Zodiac. We have all 12 signs in our charts! So pull out your natal charts and pin point everything I’m about to go over...
This time of year historically for those in the Northern Hemisphere is the cycle of death (before rebirth). In nature we see death and decay, as the leaves on the trees begin to die, we gather supplies to prepare for the snowfall and cold weather, we celebrate death and our ancestors who have passed. It has a HUGE impact on our sense of survival on a very instinctual level.
The Equinox is when the sun crosses the celestial equator, when day and night are of equal length, when the planet is equally divided straight down the middle by the Sun’s light and the void of light, the shadow, the night! It is the middle point in the Tropical Astrological year and represents equality. Equal days and nights that become longer nights with the coming Winter Solstice. The word Equinox in origin means “Equal Night” in latin.
The sign of Libra is most impacted by the Equinox, because Libra Sun signs begins on the Equinox. Libra is the sign of balance, the scales of life, justice, law and equality all reside in the Libra energy, the ruler of the seventh house. The House of Partnerships and Marriage. It relates to our husband, wife, the mate we choose in life. So it’s an opportunity to be extremely mindful about this topic.
In everyone’s Astrological natal chart is the sign of Libra. As I mentioned above, we are all the zodiac signs, some just more than others, and many stronger characteristics or barely any associated to the energetics of that Zodiac sign.
