If we believe the lie that God is all controlling, and He is therefore responsible for our pain, sicknesses, and tragedies in life, we will falsely see Him as selfish and unloving. Our motives in all we do will then come out of fear and religion, rather than love and relationship. This is one of Satan's greatest lies -- to get us to blame God for what he is ultimately responsible for.
