Lt Col Peter Middlemiss joined the Army in 2000, commissioning into the Scots Guards. In regimental duty, he has served in numerous countries and has deployed operationally to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Cyprus. In staff roles, he has served at Dstl, the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, the Land Warfare Centre, and Army HQ.

He holds an MSc from Cranfield University and is currently studying for his Chartered Project Professional qualification. He is the Army HQ Programme Manager for the Challenger 3 main battle tank. In this episode Peter speaks about his career in the army and how he was able to return to this path after leaving to pursue a different job in the financial world.
