This week, Rachael speaks to Naghmeh who has spent her career working as a midwife where she recently retired from the NHS where she was a Midwife Coordinator. Naghmeh grew up in Iran and was originally planning a career in Law but at the age of 19, had to relocate to the UK to avoid political unrest. With the urgency in getting an income landed in midwifery - whilst it wasn’t her original plan, has absolutely loved her career. She has facilitated over 5000 births and remembers every single baby!
