Hey everybody, this is Mr. Hague, Jim Hague, and I am talking to a wonderful talent over here,and we are going to talk to Miss Vieira, right? Yes. Okay, Brianna, right? Yes. Brianna Vieira, an you are a student of Azusa High School.

What grade are you in? Yes, I am a proud student of Azusa High. I am in my junior year. Okay, and what makes you so proud? Well, I've just been, you know, working through, and I've been putting myself out there, and it's just been an awesome experience.

So, tell the world, what is your challenge right now? You are visually impaired, right? Yes, so I

am completely blind. I was born with a diagnosis called Leber's congenital amaurosis, and there are a couple categories. You can have partial sight, maybe you are blind, but you have, you are, you have the ability to see light, and then you have people like me, who are totally blind, and you know, we're in the, in the darkness.

Well, I wouldn't say in the darkness, but here's the thing I want to talk about. Even though you say physically you're in the darkness, because obviously you can't see, but how are you in the light? What lights up? How do you go through life? I mean, there's got to be a light about you, because when I heard you sing that national anthem, I was like, oh my god, there's a lot of life in you. There's a lot of really amazing things about this young lady.
