Part 2. of Lessons From The Wilderness further explores my experience of completing a multi-day hike through the Tasmanian Wilderness. In this episode, I take you through the first day and night of my hike and share with you the physical and emotional challenges I faced, and the lessons I learnt along the way.
Almost 12 months ago, with a desire to push myself way outside of my comfort zone and catapult myself towards physical, mental, emotional and spiritual transformation; a dream was formed to complete a six night, seven day hike through the Tasmanian wilderness. After months and months of planning, along with the intense mental and physical preparation; of setting intentions and anticipating the transformation that a journey like this would bring, it all came crashing down at the last minute. It was time to adapt, pivot and deal with the immense disappointment that came with being unable to fulfil a dream so long in the making. In this episode, I will share with you my experience and what I learnt along the way.
Life is full of moment that don't go the way we hope or anticipate. How you deal with these situations have the opportunity to derail you, or empower you. I experienced a recent hiccup that had the potential to go either way. In this episode, I share with you my experience, how I moved though it, and the awareness and immense growth that has transpired.
How much do you trust your intuition? Do you question your gut feelings, or hunches? Do you seek guidance from external sources when making decisions?

What does your clutter actually represent? What around you; possessions and people, is a true reflection of who you truly are?
Decluttering is very popular at the moment for many reasons. Letting go of the things in your life that no longer serve you is a great way to ease stress and anxiety and it helps to create room for new things to flow to you.
In this episode, the discussion around decluttering is taken to a deeper level and the importance of aligning all your possessions and relationships to reflect the life you truly desire is discussed.
There is a natural flow of people in and out of our lives, however for most of us, when people leave, we attach a meaning to this and generally, it doesn’t make us feel good.
What if you could see the coming and going of people in your life from a different perspective?
For so long, I would see the end of relationships as a reflection of my worthiness, deservingness and lovability. I craved close connection and when I couldn’t find it, I would assume there was something wrong with me.
That was until I understood energy and vibration and the role it plays in relationships.
Do you want to focus on joy and fulfilling, soul filling relationships? In this week's episode, find out how energy and vibration can change the dynamics in relationships and what this means for you.
It is easy to look at the life of other people and the ease with which they seem to live their life and believe they are lucky or special. When you compare your life to theirs, you conclude that there must be something 'wrong' with you because life always feels like a struggle.
In this episode, I will share with you my recent weight loss journey and the surprising lessons I have learnt along the way.
How loud, mean, rude and unrelenting is your inner critic? Have you tried to tame this inner beast with varying levels of success?
What influence does this aspect of you have on your life? What does it stop you doing? How does it interfere with the life you truly want to be living?
In this episode we will really get to know your inner critic, your ego, that part of you that provides a running commentary of your life, pointing out all your flaws, inadequacies, mistakes and deepest fears. We will shine a light on this aspect of ourselves and learn how to start a new dialogue.
Knowledge is power and awareness is always the first step to making changes. Sometimes, it is even enough on its own.
Come with me on an exploration of the inner workings of your ego and change this relationship forever!
