Today’s show is about having a survival mindset to overcome the physical, sexual, emotional, and mental abuse that people suffer through. My guest Fatima C. Oliver encountered those same traumatic experiences as a child. Fatima came to the realization that seeking help in the African american community for abuse was difficult. She had to learn to navigate around cultural differences.  In this session, we will discuss clinical depression, trusting therapist, and survival when it appeared that no hope was present. Fatima’s book "The Prescription Is In The Dirt" serves as testimony to the goodness of God and her ability to persevere and through a very difficult time.
