Facing Cancer with Faith...
You'll be inspired with faith, humor, and the human emotions of facing a diagnosis of a normally terminal disease as Todd (recently found with stage 4 lung & brain cancer) shares his story in this Life Interview w Mark Roggensack (Life pastor).

Chris Crowell writes and team team-teaches with Pastor Mark Roggensack in this introductory teaching revealing how God's arch-enemy and deceiver lies in order to impede God's work in His children. This first teaching of this series deals with God's truths about lies the enemy uses about each of us.

In this final talk of the 2014 Life Partnership Series, Mark Roggensack shares Seven Servanthood Axioms that reflect and perpetuate the culture of servanthood of the gospel and Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

Snow- It could be God's beautiful way to slow us down from our un-godly rhythm of living.

Snow has its place in many parts of God's plan for growth both ecologically and spiritually. Life Church lead pastor, Mark Roggensack, continues the series "The Living Word" with a refreshing perspective on how God's authority speaks through all seasons. Isa 55:9-11 reminds us that like the rain and the snow, God's words and truth go out from him and never return to him empty.

Why do people believe what they believe? In this Living Word Series message, Mark Roggensack unpacks the unique reception that the citizens of Thessalonica gave to the message of Jesus Christ that the missionary/apostle Paul brought to them. How about you? Is the message/word of Christ just human words and ideas - or is it the very word of God you can trust?

Ever feel pulled to be living more for the good things of this life than for God?

In Part 2 of The Living Word Series, Life Church lead pastor, Mark Roggensack unveils a portion of Israel’s 40 year wilderness journey in Exodus 16 where God miraculously provided quail and manna for His hungry, disgruntled people. We'll discover how this story parallels with the 40 day wilderness temptation experience of Jesus. In the end, we discover we can choose to serve and live for earthly “bread”, or we can choose to trust, obey and live for and according to God’s words.

Welcome to the Living Word Series at Life Church. In our mission to become and live like Jesus, we are establishing a deeper connection to the truths of God's words to us.

Although, we believe the Bible to be the tested, inspired, infallible revelations of God, His story, and His working in this world, by "LIVING WORD" we refer to all the continuing words and speaking of God that are in agreement and alignment with the written Word - the Holy Bible.

With the BIBLE as the foundation of our 2014 LIVING WORD series, Mark Roggensack, lead pastor at Life Church in Gurnee, shares about the truths, concepts, and reality of God speaking real time into your personal life through His written Word, the Holy Spirit, and other people.

"Just Like Jesus" - may just shake up your whole paradigm of doing church.

A young rich ruler asks Jesus how to get eternal life. Jesus' simple reply leaves this man walking away very sad. Was it selling his belongings and giving to the poor that saddened him, or was it something Jesus said that extended beyond his present wealth?

In this first Life Talk of the "Just Like Jesus" Series, Mark introduces (through Jesus' interaction with this young rich ruler) God's ultimate goal for each of us as we come to faith and participate in God's family - the church... to become like His Son, Jesus.

The convicting challenge? Much of activity in our present church paradigm does not easily bring about this "Just Like Jesus" transformation in us or our community. The Kingdom of God and Eternal Life is not a destination after death, but rather is a "way of living with Christ" that extends into eternal life.

Lets discover life in God's Kingdom and become a thriving community of faith that is becoming like Jesus, together.

In this third message of the CIRCLE MAKER Series, Life Church Lead Pastor Mark Roggensack delivers a motivating bible-based talk about prayer (from Mark Batterson's CIRCLE MAKER). In this talk, Mark challenges us come to God with unrelenting persistence in our prayers. Persistence reveals our passionate desire to receive all that God has for us!

In this second message of the CIRCLE MAKER Series, Life Church Lead Pastor delivers a motivating bible-based talk from Mark Batterson's CIRCLE MAKER book. In this talk, Mark challenges us to dream God sized dreams that invite God to do what we cannot. When we truly believe God has no limitations, it changes how we pray.
