In the Bible, leprosy was a death sentence. You were banished and left alone, destined for your end. Today, our world faces problems like leprosy – covid and cancer, among other things. But, as Pastor Bill teaches today, sin and separation from God are more dangerous and damning than these diseases. Yet, Jesus, who loved and healed many lepers, died on the cross and healed humanity from our eternal damnation. And through the Holy Spirit, he lives in and with believers. Because of this, we will never be banished.
