Renowned as an interviewer, the title of his recent memoir ‘Newbon - Bloody Hell’ is a reference to the famous quote he got from Alex Ferguson in the players tunnel in Barcelona after his Manchester United team had won the Champions League in dramatic style. The book has been nominated in the Sports Book Awards.
