The adventure continues! After your first meeting with the Warden goes south faster than a goose in winter, you find yourself in a cell with Hugh Broehain, the oldest prisoner at the Circo. You are made accustomed to your new lifestyle pretty much immediately and are escorted to enjoy lunch with the rest of the "Talents." Your new partner makes a scene by refusing to eat his meal, which sparks indignant rage from the guards. You make an attempt to intervene and are met with unnecessary force from the Captain of the guards, Felix Maddock. Hugh is told that he must finish his meal, or else he won't get his surprise. What could that mean? Apparently, Hugh has a pretty good idea.
The adventure continues! After being thrown into a cell by the twisted Warden, you are introduced to your new cell mate, the gentle and pious David Simmons. You are treated to the prisoner lifestyle right away, and are brought to the cafeteria with the other "Talents" to enjoy lunch. As you witness the prison guards gang up on an older prisoner, you decided to distract the guards by picking a fake food fight with David, who flies into a rage upon contact! You are both brought back to your cell by Sheriff Maddock, but not before speaking to Officer Vendari who offers a cryptic message about one Trilobaine's army.
The adventure continues! You've learned about the missing patient, Sasha Ickert and have decided, with some push from Professor Kelleher, that you should go assist Sheriff Maddock with his search. This brings you to the Gemini, the only Inn in Sonderville. As you are making your acquaintance with the short fused, Isaac Dougherty- a rowdy group enters, one you recognize. A fight breaks out between the group and the Innkeeper, but is interrupted by the dramatic entrance of a gravely injured young woman, who collapses to the floor. Of course, you spring into action. Time to show them what you've got, Doc!
The adventure continues! You took a tour of your new hometown with the lovely and officious Mayor Carmichael. Learning about Sonderville gave you a deeper appreciation and understand of your surroundings, which is certainly advantageous. You've also met Isaac Dougherty, the Innkeeper of the Gemini, Sonderville's only tourist overnight-stay option. As you go to leave the Gemini- you bump into an exhausted and injured young woman, one who springs to life in a fit of rage once she discovers exactly who you are. The chase is on!
The adventure continues! So... you've met the Warden... what do you think of him? By your dismissal of his proposal we can assume that you're not his biggest fan... to put it lightly. As you go to leave the Circo Tormentorum, with no intention to return, you overhear a conversation regarding a missing prisoner- one who was last seem at non-other than Kelleher Labs. This is puzzling to you, because you are certain that if this was the case you would have been informed, no? Deciding to take the fight straight to the source, you confront Jeanine Kade about the misinformation- you are dismissed and are prepared to go home when suddenly... you hear an exasperated panting in the brush.
The adventure continues! In a bit of a whirlwind of fate, you have decided to take a new position within the Circo Tormentorum. Your first assignment is simple enough; introduce yourself to the prisoners. As you are escorted by Officer Vendari to the prison block you'll be working most closely with, something striking comes up in conversation regarding Kelleher Labs' interaction with the Circo Talent- more pointedly- why prisoners are being subject to private execution within the walls of the lab?
The adventure continues! Your first full day in town and things are going... strangely. After turning down a big promotion at your brand new job you are informed that fugitive Sasha Ickert has vandalized your home! Upon investigation with Sheriff Maddock, you see that Sasha not only burglarized your new apartment, but took the time to write you a rather... personal message. With seemingly no where to turn to Sheriff Maddock has escorted you back to labs to put you into the care of the stoic and professional Jeanine Kade.
The adventure continues! After accepting quite the tempting promotion at your new job with Kelleher Labs, tragedy strikes! Well... you fell and hit your head... hard. But once the smoke cleared (?) the story of your accident became as confused as yourself. As clarity regains, so does your confidence in your side of the incident but there's one nagging detail that doesn't add up... a voice... or rather, several.
After a wild night with strange noises and people attacking each other with baseball bats, you wake up to your new coworker, Jeanine Kade, knocking on your door. She then escorts you to the Circo Tormentorum, a circus style prison which houses all of your potential patients. Once there you witness a horrifying 'performance' which climaxes in the live executions of the prisoners on stage. Drenched in blood and visibly shaken, you attempt to speak with the Warden and the conversation goes south. Quickly. After pontificating the Warden asks you whether you'd rather lose your liver or your soul. You decide you'd rather lose your soul.
