There are Three words for life in Scriptures:

-Bios (physical or external life)

-Pseuke (soul or natural life comprised of your mind, will, and emotions)

-Zoe (Gods life displayed on the earth by Jesus Christ Who became the life-giving spirit. This is the innermost Abundant life)

Did you know the tree of life is at the beginning of Bible and at the end of the Bible? It is God’s intention that we live by and enjoy this tree of life (Zoe) rather than the other source, our soul life (pseuke)

Examples of the word life in scripture. Matt 6:25 Take no thought for your life (bios)what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on… (33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; II Tim 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; (bios) Luke 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, (bios) John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life(Zoe). John 10:10-11. I am come that you might have life (Zoe), and that you might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life (pseuke) for the sheep: John 12:25 He that loves his life (pseuke)shall lose it, and he that hates his life(pseuke )in this world shall keep it to life (Zoe)eternal.
