Understanding these two trees in the garden of Eden will set us up to comprehend God‘s eternal purpose for our lives. The tree of discerning good and evil is just another source of life. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life (pseuke) for the sheep:

John 12:25 He that loves his life (pseuke)shall lose it, and he that hates his life (pseuke ) in this world shall keep it to life (Zoe) eternal.

Jhn 15:13

No one has greater love than this, that one should lay down his life (pseuke ) for his friends.

Rev 12:11

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the wordof their testimony; and they lovednot their soul life unto the death.
