REST: Permission to Abide and Enjoy God's Presence
“And He said, ‘My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.’” Exodus 33:14
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. Matthew 11:28-30
I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me – watch how I do it. Matthew 11:28-30

RESULTS: Permission to Produce and cease Producing
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)
“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God. Exodus 20:8-11
On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. Exodus 20:8-11
For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.” Exodus 20:8-11
RECOVERY Permission to attend your Physical Being
“Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest” Mark 6:31
REFLECTION: Permission to Pause and Ponder Beauty/Goodness
“God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning – the sixth day.” Genesis 1:31
RENEWAL: Permission to Play
“Let the children alone, don’t prevent them from coming to me. God’s kingdom is made up of people like these.” (Matthew 19:14)
“A cheerful heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit makes one sick.” Proverbs 17:22
RE-CENTERING Permission to gain or regain Perspective
“Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flow the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23
Jesus replied, ‘”Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. Matthew 22:37-39
The second most important is similar: ‘Love your neighbor as much as you love yourself.’” Matthew 22:37-39
