WELCOME
Hi, welcome to the Women Behaving Boldly podcast, the podcast that features women who share their stories about personal and professional growth and transformations—to uplift, encourage, and inspire all of us to live our most beautiful, fulfilling, and elevated lives. I’m your host Alana Marie.
This is one of the inaugural episodes, and I’m so happy you’re here today and thrilled to introduce today’s guest—Celia Martin. Celia is a a retired teacher with 37 years of full time experience in elementary and middle school classrooms. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters and sons-in-law, and doing yoga, meditation, walking, swimming, reading (historical fiction is my favorite genre). She also enjoys volunteering in her church and community, and traveling extensively. Someday she hopes to go to India and Nepal! Today we’re going to chat about her fairly recent transition into retirement and how some of her experiences can benefit those on a similar path and those of us still working or caring for family. There is always something interesting to learn!
