Good book everyone should read it

Great Message Some Writing Challenges

I received a copy of Kinneyâs Life is Waiting on You, prior to the release date in exchange for an honest review.

There are so many things that happen on a daily basis and as individuals, it is easy to âdrop out of lifeâ and simply exist, Kinney wants to encourage everyone to rejoin life. In this book, the author provides a personal history and scriptural references as a guide to the way that she rejoined life with the help of God. Additionally, she provides suggestions on how the readers can step back into the life that is waiting on them.

I enjoyed the message of this book, although the message couldâve been strengthened with some minor writing improvements.

I have read all of Kinneyâs work so I am familiar with her writing style. This particular book is different than her other books because it is a different sub-genre than her others. If you have read Kinneyâs works you will notice that as a writer she has made many improvements editorially.

I almost did not finish reading the book because of the writing tone in the beginning. The introduction and first chapter of Life is Waiting on You were the hardest part of the book to read. Those chapters read like a transcript from a sermon. The book improved greatly in chapter 5, there was clarity in the message being conveyed and it no longer read like a transcript. Additionally, there were some issues with flow throughout the book. Specifically, sometimes it felt as though she jumped from one topic to another without a transition. This left me as the reader, slightly confused.

The writing issues took away from the message but overall this is a good read if you are looking for encouragement and you read inspirational âself-helpâ books. Kinney is a budding writer, however she puts her heart and love in her works. With each new book, you can see improvements and maturation as a writer. Kinney loves her work and she is on a mission to help all those that she can through the help of God. I recommend you purchase a copy of the book for the message.

Overall good read

I've read two other books by Marita which were awesome, but this book was a bit different. It did taught valuable life lessons, but it was sort of difficult to jump into what she was trying convey. After the first few chapters, I was able to relate to it a bit more. It's a good read and I definitely could've relate to some of the things going on in my life. It just took a little more time with this book to get into verses the others I've read. Overall, I think the book will definitely help others in difficult areas of their life. You will feel motivated and ready to take on the world.
