In Episdoe 78 of "The Reel-ists Podcast", Oscar and Donnie discuss "Life Itself", the newest film by Director Dan Fogelman. Much criticism has been surrounding this film, specifically from movie critics who felt that the film is nothing more than an extended version of Fogelmans "This Is Us" series. However, that didn't stop Donnie and Oscar from connecting with the film and taking it for what it was; an honest and tragic composition of life, death, love and loss. The guys agree that this film carried a lot of emotional baggage as well as some deep, underlying messages (a prominent one being that we are all somehow connected in the grand scheme of things, and every decision has an unlimited amount of consequences that trickle down afterwards).
