Shantee Anaquod spent two months in hospital waiting for a very expensive life-saving drug. After her story went public, the B-C government finally agreed to fund the drug at a cost of $7-hundred and 50-thousand dollars a year. That means that Shantee is able to go home in time for the holidays.
