“Lifelike”

In ancient times, there was a Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi who once had a dream. In his dream, he became a beautiful butterfly, flying around proudly, completely forgetting that he was a human. It was not until he woke up that Zhuangzi realized that he was originally Zhuang Zhou, not a butterfly. But the butterfly in the dream is so realistic that people can't distinguish between reality and illusion.

We based on this story to design this work to show the vivid, lively and lifelike feeling of the butterfly in the dream, as if it were real and full of vitality. As if the wings will fly in the wind, freely shuttle and play in the beautiful sea of ​​flowers. Butterflies fly freely, like a free heart, unfettered, infinitely broad.

We use a hollow-carved design to increase the penetration of the work. We also use different curved arcs for the wings of the butterfly to present a lifelike dynamic.
