Egyptian American actor Luke Dimyan plays one of history’s most vilified figures starring as Judas Iscariot in the global phenomenon The Chosen.

All eight episodes of Season 5 exploded into theaters as a special three-part event — The Chosen: The Last Supper — grossing over $140 million worldwide, and now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The 28-year-old actor’s nuanced performance as the most misunderstood disciple has captivated audiences everywhere— transcending expectations in a role both iconic and complex.

Created by Dallas Jenkins, The Chosen is the first multi-season series about the life of Jesus of Nazareth — watched by over 280 million people around the globe… with a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.

You've also seen him on FX's Better Things opposite Pamela Adlon, and the Viaplay original streaming series Home Invasion, where he worked alongside actors Morena Baccarin and John Noble.

A graduate of AMDA College and Conservatory for the Performing Arts in Hollywood, Dimyan honed his craft in acting, screenwriting, and improv — performing today across stages in Los Angeles.

We sat down with him at the LifeMinute studios to talk about his climactic turn as Judas in Season 5 of The Chosen.

Three-time Grammy award-winning blues legend Bobby Rush and five-time Grammy nominated singer/songwriter/guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd have come together to release a new album, Young Fashioned Ways. The 10-track record is a very special collection of new blues songs that the two artists wrote and recorded together at Royal Studios in Memphis, Tennessee.

Their debut single, “Who Was That,” is featured in Lionsgate’s new film Flight Risk, starring Mark Wahlberg.

The duo is also hitting the road for a 24-city U.S. tour ending in August.

They’re the dynamic duo behind some of the ‘80s most memorable hits…

Now, Nick Feldman and Jack Hues of Wang Chung are looking back on the band’s more than four-decade career with their new retrospective compilation album, Clear Light/Dark Matter out now on CD, digital, and a double set on black or white vinyl. It includes a brand-new remix of their 1986 Billboard topping smash hit “Everybody Have Fun Tonight.”

The pair dropped by the LifeMinute studios to tell us all about it, as well as joining Rick Springfield for the 2025 edition of his “I Want My ‘80s Tour.”

Israeli-born artist, Eef Barzelay and his band Clem Snide have been bringing us his beautiful goods for years. The indie rock star has just birthed his 10th studio album, Oh Smokey, which he describes as “slow, sad songs about God and death.”

Barzelay wrote the record’s eight tracks during an introspective time, while upending much of his life. His 25-year marriage dissolved, parting ways with his longtime manager, and leaving his Nashville home after two decades.

He stopped by the LifeMinute studios to tell us all about it and play us a few tunes.

You probably know him from his iconic roles in classics Rocky IV, Masters of the Universe, and his recent blockbuster, Expend4bles.

However, actor, filmmaker, and martial artist, Dolph Lundgren didn’t set up to be in showbusiness. The Swedish-born star was actually a chemical engineer but after a chance encounter with Andy Warhol, he broke into the modeling world and later landed his first role in the James Bond film, A View to a Kill.

It’s been 12 years since legendary rock, funk, blues alt-rockers, Spin Doctors dropped a new album. Their first with Capitol Records and a brand-new bassist, Jack Daley, rounding out the four-piece which includes singer-songwriter Chris Barron, guitarist Eric Schenkman, and drummer Aaron Comess.

Yep, this pivotal band is back in a big way…with Face Full of Cake, full of fun hooks and the funky sound they’re known and loved for.

Formed in 1988 in New York City, they burst into the mainstream with their full-length 1991 debut Pocket Full of Kryptonite. The record went on to sell more than ten million copies worldwide with several massive singles including “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong” and of course, Billboard Hot 100 Top Ten hit “Two Princes, ” which was the No. 1 Rock radio hit of 1993.

Best known as the lead guitarist of influential rock band Roxy Music, and of course, for his timeless riffs, Phil Manzanera is one of the UK’s most notable musicians and record producers, having shot to prominence in the early ‘70s with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band.

In 2022, Roxy Music celebrated their 50th anniversary with a 13-arena tour across America and the UK, culminating with a sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena.

Now in his fifth decade as a musician, Manzanera is sharing his fascinating life, which he likens to that of Forrest Gump’s, in his new captivating memoir, Revolución To Roxy. The book, containing more than 100 photographs, details the artist’s life, from his early childhood growing up in the dangerous streets of revolutionary Havana, to his musical journey with Roxy and later, performing with Bob Dylan and being sampled by Jay-Z and Kanye West on their Grammy-winning song.

A companion music CD, of the same name as the autobiography, is also out now, featuring ten tracks in total, including five previously unreleased songs.

One of the world’s leading guitarists was in New York City recently for a special show supporting the recent release. He swung by the LifeMinute Studios to tell us all about it and play some of his indelible music.
