The series is based on the stories of Moses in the book of Exodus and inspired by the writing of Rev. John Thornburg who says, "You can decide to take a walk. You can decide to take a trip or a vacation. But what we are talking about now is an adventure. You do not take an adventure: you are taken on an adventure. On an adventure, you cannot say when it is half over or when it will end. You cannot relax or psychologically disengage because you are not in control and you do not know the outcome. An adventure engages you all the time. And whoever hears a call from God and responds to it is taken on the adventure of a lifetime."
