In this weeks episode we’re exploring the awesome power of CLARITY

Clarity is what helps us direct ENERGY. Like water with no direction, energy flows all over the place, it dissipates and loses it’s ability to have an impact! Without knowing our destination how can we possibly find the direction we need to get from where we are to where we want to be?

A lack of clarity has a massive impact on your enjoyment of life, it can:

* Leave us feeling stuck and confused which leads to…

* Anxiety and stress which in turn affects..

* Confidence and self esteem so we…

* Move into distraction and time wasting to avoid the feelings bubbling away under the surface

Having a sense of where you are and where you want to be brings the ‘how to get from here to there’ into focus. Just like using Google Maps, you need to input your current location as well as your destination in order to get directions!

This week’s episode will help you understand the importance of clarity as well as give you some practical tools to help you start to bring what you want into focus.

Train yourself to make this a habit. Start your day by asking what you want, how you want to feel, who you want to be and then check in throughout the day to make sure you are living those intentions!

In this weeks episode I’m diving into the importance of fulfilment and joy in life, sharing with you some of my tips for cultivating more satisfaction in life.

I touch on how important it is for us to focus on giving to others, how our own fulfilment impacts those around us and what happens when we feel dissatisfied and discontent with the work we do.

Humans are social creatures and one of the major ways we create fulfilment is to give to others. For me, learning to lean into vulnerability and allow myself to show up more fully in my close relationships gave me the realisation that sometimes giving to others can come in unexpected ways – like giving someone the opportunity to be there for you in a time of need.It’s time for us to come back together and cultivate a deeper sense of connection and community. In this episode I delve into the ‘Millennial Profile’ and how the age of technology and instant gratification are affecting our ability to create an extraordinary life…

Now I know a lot of you will might immediately think “Oh I’m not a millennial so that doesn’t have anything to do with me”… but you might be surprised! I know I was.

In my head the term ‘Millennial’ refers to people who are 10 years younger than me – me being 33 and born in the 80’s – turns out I was wrong.

It turns out the ‘Millennial Generation’ is anyone born, roughly, from 1984 – 1996. So if you’re in your mid to late 30’s and you feel like the term ‘Millennial’ refers to people 10 years younger than you – guess what… You’re a Millennial!

After listening to a talk by Simon Sinek (see below for link details if you want to dive further in – which I highly recommend because Simon is not only an amazing speaker but has a lot of amazing insights into leadership and the millennial generation) I became aware that not only was I roughly 2 years into the start of this generation but some of the traits he explained hit home and made me want to dig deeper.

So I’ve done some research into the main traits, struggles and opportunities for this amazing generation of visionaries who have big dreams but lack the skills to follow through (a classic pattern I’ve had to explore in my own life – really good at starting things and having a multitude of idea’s… not so great when it came to following through and sticking with it)

For me it’s been a really journey of deeper self understanding looking into this profile so far and I feel like I’ve only just scratched the surface. I’m SUPER EXCITED to share this episode I think it’s going to be a bit of an eye opener for quite a lot of people, especially if you’re like me and you are in your mid 30’s and you’re thinking ‘”‘m not a Millennial, there’s no way I fit that profile”

And of course the big one which is disconnecting from time-Stealers.

These are five things that you can do right now to change your life, you’ll have so much more time, so much more energy, so much more joy and feel so much freer if you let go of these things. Imagine if you put all of that time and energy into creating and cultivating the parts of yourself and the things in your life that light you up? You’ll bring so much more joy to the world. This week, we’ll be exploring Expectations. Now, expectations are incredibly powerful. And I’ve definitely experienced the disappointment that can come from having specific expectations but then that’s not always the case but that got me wondering, what’s the difference?

Is there a magic formula? And if so, what is it? We will be looking at the balance between expectations and attachment, the influence of other people’s expectations  and how that impacts our lives.

And of course what you can do to start expecting the best with confidence.

You can either expect the best and look for the best in every situation or you can expect life to keep being run of the mill, boring, monotonous. I know which I would choose. How about you.
