“Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also.”

God invites us to take a step further looking at His marvellous creation, beyond the simple facts

“Lift up your eyes on high, And see who has created these things, Who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name, By the greatness of His might And the strength of His power; Not one is missing.”

Isaiah 40:26

God’s power evident in His creation and Him being in full control of all things gives us reassurance to know that as His children we are surrounded by His divine strength and power, more so than the stars in the sky

That brings true humility, that the Author of all creation, looks upon us with such love and care

“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?”

Psalms 8:3-4 

“But I am poor and needy; Yet the Lord thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God.”

Psalms 40:17 

God wants to tell you today that in your darkness and feeling lost, He brings light and hope

“For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.”
