I listened to a talk by a very influential and visionary leader the other day and in his message i was reconciled to a parable of Jesus walking on water. [Matthew 14:22 - 33]. He said what's important in this journey, as we transition is to 'lift your gaze'. Life is a tumultuous storm that dispositions us often time and most times because we let our heads hang low in despair. But i encourage you to lift your gaze, and not only in the sense of looking up, but lift the standards and horizon of your gaze (in this case size it up with Jesus) and stand firm in the sight of what your triumph looks like (His promises) .
