Hundreds of years before Jesus was baptised, anointed by the Holy Spirit, tested in the wilderness and heard proclaiming that people should turn from their independent ways and recognise the kingdom of God near them — Isaiah prophesied that God’s light would impact the spiritual darkness of the Galilee region. From this we can see that God has a special heart for the places and people that need Him most. Be encouraged, revival often breaks out in unlikely places!
This story unfurls through the following Bible readings set for Sunday, January 22, 2023 (interdenominational scheme).
