Tonight the Church lights candles in the darkness, but this isn't just a ceremony—it’s a tactical reality. The wax is His flesh, the wick is His soul, and the flame is His divinity. Christ is presented in the temple as a Light, but Simeon warns us that this Light is also a sword.
