The close of the 18th century was marked by a very low period in Christianity in North America so God worked a mighty revival known as the Great Awakening. It was during this period, the great Advent movement swept through North American churches, preparing a people for the second coming of Christ. Today, the gathering work continues as God prepares a remnant that will stand in the final conflict.
