New Hope can be scary. Especially when we consider the fact that we must let go of old Hope first.

But when did the old become bad?

Stale things don’t get there in an instant. It takes time, and subtle changes that eventually contribute to the final result… and when we are in it, we never see the changes because we adjust to the subtle changes as well and lose sight of just what it looks like to be in a fresh setting.

New Hope is the fresh smell of the morning air, to snap us out of the stale lies we have held onto and point us to an ever-refreshing father.
