Believers have been authorized through what Christ has done for them in His death, burial and resurrection.  Romans 5:17 says, "...much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ." Consequently, Believers can reign or "live like a boss" in their daily lives because of what Jesus has accomplished on their behalf.
