When we were little, we talked like a child and behaved like a child. Now that we are grown, we ought to come to a high level of maturity in the things of God. But then, Jesus told his disciples that the greatest in the kingdom of heaven is one who behaves like a child. Does it contradict the statement of us coming to a high maturity? No, it doesn't. When we approach God, we ought to be like a child. A child observes, learns and gets clingy. We should be clingy to God. We should always learn what Jesus did and follow Him. We should accept rebuke from the scriptures and the people God placed to be our leaders. We should be like a child when we approach God to learn and Face the world as a son.
