Jesus answered the question of who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven by pointing to a child, teaching that we must become like little children even to enter it. This childlike heart is marked by three qualities: purity—forgiving others and living with integrity; simplicity—coming to Christ authentically and being content with what we have; and humility—being teachable, accepting correction, and recognising our need for change. As the Church's readings continue to highlight the work of the Holy Spirit, we are reminded that these childlike qualities are essential for our own growth in Christ and our journey towards His Kingdom.
