Do you ever feel like you are doing okay compared to everyone else? Do you quietly wonder how you really measure up before a holy God? What do you do with the ache that something is off inside, even when life looks fine on the surface?
In Romans 3 we hear the true note sound: all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. When God’s holiness fills the room, comparison collapses and we see our need clearly. Yet this is not the end of the story. Jesus steps into our rupture and does for us what we could never do for ourselves. The gospel is good news for people who cannot fix their own hearts. In Christ, God gives a righteousness we could not produce, a foundation that holds when everything else gives way.
If you have tried harder, cleaned up the outside, or leaned on religion and still felt out of tune, this message is for you. Sin is deeper than behavior and grace is stronger than shame. Through the cross, God remains just and becomes the one who justifies all who trust in Jesus. You are invited to lay down striving, open your hands in faith, and receive the gift of being declared righteous and fully accepted before God.
Scripture: Romans 3:23 to 24, 26
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
“He did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.” Romans 3:26
