Martha led the team responsible for 1000 events a year plus Corporate Sponsorships for 27 years. She is now consulting and enjoying "re-wirement" which means continuous learning and contributing. She is passionate about effective leadership, quality and doing the things that “Most People Don’t”.

-What happens to your supplier contacts when you leave a position as planner? Who remains "loyal" as a friend versus who no longer calls you because you can't give them a contract? What every seller should learn.
-While not everyday is "great", you still need to LOVE everyday.
-Do your job to the BEST of your ability and doors will naturally open for you. Focus on the task and hand and enjoy the present.
-As a leader, remove roadblocks, have their backs, be curious, be involved, and allow everyone to start with an "A".
-Pay attention to all the little details when planning and ask yourself, "what happens when the doors open?". For meetings and for greetings.
