She's both a harpy-like creature AND a vampiric seductress. She is nowhere in the Bible yet permeates Judaic folklore as Adam's first wife. Lilith is the original "bad girl" as well as the first ultimate feminist icon. Lilith is the personification of the song "Bitch" by Meredith Brooks, in that she's "a little bit of everything, all rolled into one."
