Meet The Book Club, a group of concerned and slightly conspiracy-oriented Coldwater citizens who have sensed a mysterious underbelly in the town since the strange deaths a year ago. The group is made up of: Aaron, the local journalist; Richard, a well-spoken retiree; Charles, the town’s librarian; and Allgenon, a mycologist consulting with the Book Club. The quartet of amateur investigators catches wind of the strange reappearance of the park ranger, and the violent end of a few folks at the local Co-op. Based on this info, they track down some leads and attempt to uncover what they’ve suspected for months: there are stranger things occurring in Coldwater than anyone is willing to admit.
