How effective was Christ's death on the Cross? Did it just open a potential to someone being saved or does it effectually save them. In historical Reformed teaching it is taught that Christ death was effectual, in that whoever Christ dies for that person will be saved. Consistency is what God uses and is so let us think through all our facets of our theology especially important things like Christ death on the cross(His atonement.)
