Limiting Beliefs: Your Beliefs Dictate Your Self Worth

You are not your thoughts BUT.... your thoughts DO create your reality.

We all abide by a set of beliefs that we cumulate through things like experience, culture, upbringing, etc... When these beliefs have gotten us through life, we often don't think to question their validity. Then we're faced with the challenges associated with not truly knowing who we are and what we're capable of. My hopes are that you'll leave today's episode feeling much more aware of your own thoughts, especially in what is actually true and what you've just chosen to believe all this time.

Journal prompts for limiting beliefs:

  1. What have you always wanted to do but haven't yet? What belief have you attached to this that is stopping you from doing this thing?
  2. What are your strengths? What about your weaknesses? Who told you these were true/what solid evidence do you have to back this up?
  3. If you were the same person you are now, but had all the confidence in the world, what would you accomplish?
  4. What are some of your biggest limiting beliefs? How have these beliefs affected your personal life?
  5. How can you prove these beliefs wrong?
  6. Going back to the tool belt analogy... what tools on your tool belt are rusty? What might you be able to swap out the rusty ones for?
