Not everyone wants to be super lean or have the biggest muscles or be the fastest runner.
My approach to fitness has been to make sure that all areas - stamina, strength, endurance, core, mobility, flexibility - are all taken care of in pursuit of a specific goal.
So I guess you could say that I'm a specialist in being a fitness generalist.
In my mid-30s, I can max out the speed on the treadmill, deadlift two times my body weight, squat 1.5 times my body weight, touch my toes, move pain free and my energy levels rarely dop.
I don't have abs but I am still lean, I don't have big muscles but I have enough definition that you can see I train regularly.
In this episode I talk about how being a fitness generalist has shaped my current fitness approach and why it might be exactly what you're looking for too.
