There are quite a few players trying to bring some form of Linux onto Android device, after all, Android itself runs on a Linux kernel so you would expect it would be easy but it's more complicated than that. One option that is looking very promising is Lindroid. So if you want a containerized version of Linux on your mobile phone, this might be for you.
