We wanted to revisit the beginning of John 3 because we wanted to read it and look at the Nicodemus and Jesus's conversation in a different and powerful way. 

This conversation was more than two people getting together and talking about spiritual things. It was God, Creator of Heaven and Earth coming down from Heaven and sharing the Gospel with humanity, face to face. 

Think about it, Jesus is evangelizing Nicodemus, so pay attention to the message that Jesus is laying down because when God shares the gospel its information worthy to take to heart.
