John's mission was not unlike ours.  He was crying in the wilderness to make Christ known. And like him, we should be making Christ known in whatever wilderness God has planted us.

What is your occupation or what inhabits your time?

No matter if you're doctor, lawyer, police officer, mechanic, housewife or unemployed; no matter who we are or what we do, if we have been changed by allowing Christ into our lives, we should be a like Paul Revere, the only difference is that we should be crying out "Jesus is coming, Jesus is coming!!!"
