When one reads certain historical events in the Bible it becomes clear that an over arching power struggle exists. A battle between high ranking demons and angelic forces swirl around the great empires and prophets. Note what Daniel is told :

We find something special and unique about Israel's warriors. If America is part of the lost ten tribes of Israel, one would expect to see this connection with Judah and their military. The Bible records this military difference from other nations.

Those with only a cursory knowledge of the Bible think everything in the Old Testament is about the southern kingdom of Judah. They seem to be unaware of the split of Israel and therefore misunderstand quite a lot of the Bible.

If God is righteous and good then all of His commands to men are for our benefit. For example, the Sabbath Law is for our good and THIS is made plain by the words of the Son of God.

THE BIBLE IS ONE CONTINUOUS BOOK. It has themes and central messages from God to mankind. One of the messages is that God is working through the family of Abraham, the Israelites.
