When it comes to language learning listening to authentic content from native speakers can't be overemphasised enough! It's extremely important to get some content in through listening and this could be particularly difficult for beginners but what if there was finally a 'magic formula'? In this episode, I talked about to build the habit of active listening as a beginner and how powerful it could be in the long run! This episode was inspired by Olly Richard's podcast the I Will Teach You A Language Podcast, Link below:

Today, I talked to popular French teacher and coach Alex (frenchinplainsight on Instagram), and we discussed expressions which you can use in your daily life to sound more French!
Alex is an English expat living in the beautiful city of Montepellier in the south of France. As an expat, he has lived there for 5 years now and he moved there to 'continue his journey of learning a foreign language as an adult'
Are you also an expat living in France or any other Francophone country? Then this episode is perfect for you to use French expressions that are very natural and common. Maybe you don't live in France but you're thinking of or you're already watching TV in French or listening to French music, this would also be PERFECT for you!
If you like the episode or the podcast in general don't forget to subscribe and if you're feeling generous please leave a rating and/or a review on Apple Podcasts.
