Joanna Burbury, clinical psychologist and CBT therapist, takes us through her work with NHS talking therapies. She describes how mindfulness might be used in combination with therapies to benefit mental health and wellbeing, including advice of how you might begin to be mindful today.

In this episode we look at the first of the five ways to wellbeing: being active. Laura Harvey, Head of Creative Programmes at the English National Ballet, tells about their community driven outreach approach and the many benefits of Dancing East, dance classes for older people. We then meet John Sadaful who is a longstanding participant of Dancing East. He talks about his life as a devoted father and mechanic, and why he loves taking part in the class each week.
