Wildlife Conservation Explorer Simba Qiang Zhuo once wrote in his diary of observation in the Maasai Mara: “During my years in Africa, one of the most fascinating aspects of living closely with lions has been the way lion cubs often play "hide and seek" with me. When I'm not looking at them, they approach me proactively. However, as soon as I turn to look at them, they stop in their tracks, acting as if nothing had happened.”
