As things open more and more, our calendar starts to fill up with gigs. We talk about backing artists, and the process of learning multiple sets of music at once. James tells us what really grinds his gears, we break down the different HEBs in Austin, and complain about traffic and those behind the wheel (Dane introduces us to the “box turn”).

Sup gang! We’re back and got stuff to talk about, aiight?? We’re announcing some upcoming shows in and out of Austin! James & Jer talk about playing on the street (and the interesting people you meet). Dane introduces us to “sleep remixes” and another interesting phrase you probably haven’t heard (and won’t forget anytime soon). We share some pretty cool music existing outside of the reggae realm and discuss the future of live music after the introduction of the COVID vaccine. See? We talk about REAL issues… sometimes…

Sup everyone! Since we have an affinity for experimentation, this was our first time (well, second) recording remotely. We talk about some cool festivals we are going to be a part of in the spring, briefly discuss the Grammys (our prediction was correct!), and share some genre-spanning music. Jeremy talks about the weird things going on in his life: coincidence? manifestation? or glitches in the matrix? Tune in to find out!

Well the snow has thawed in Austin, and we are more or less back to normal! On this episode we talk about our upcoming residency, share some music, and discuss some topics brought to the table like Tiger Woods and ASMR. The later half features a phone interview with Ras I-Dre, an artist we will be performing with March 5th at Sahara Lounge. Enjoy the cast, and hope to see ya at the show!

The Lion Heights crew found themselves at Tall Sky Studio seeking refuge from the Texas Snowpocalypse, and what better way to weather the storm than record an impromptu episode of the LH Paw Cast! This one features a special guest, Jeff Carlson (that’s Jeremy’s brother, AKA “Sachi”), the host of his own podcast titled “River of Consciousness”. 

Join us as we go down a crazy rabbit hole on Omegle and interview a bunch of random guests, including a guy from California wearing what appear to be sweatpants on his head, someone on a train in Hong Kong, and f-bomb Diego from Washington State. 

We cap it off with a discussion of some recent trends in Country Rap and Dancehall. You don’t want to miss this one!
