Lisa Keller has enjoyed a long career in Anchorage as an elite athlete, coach and civic leader. In 2003 she founded Multisport Training of Alaska and still serves as its head coach. As a student at East High in 1982, Lisa was the Alaska State Champion at 800 meters. Since then she’s won several triathlons, both in Alaska and Outside, and has twice been named the Alaska Female Triathlete of the Year. She’s also a breast cancer survivor and attributes her positive outcome to lessons she learned through sports. Currently Lisa serves as head coach for Running Free Alaska, a 5-year-old non-profit running program for female prison inmates at the Hiland Mountain Correctional Center in Eagle River.
