Lisa-Marie Lightfoot (Administrator): Lisa-Marie Lightfoot has been with WCSD for 14 years. She has B.A. in Communications and Business and M.A.in Business with a Certificate in Volunteer Administration. She was one of the four founders of the Volunteer Administrators of Northern Nevada (VANN) and currently is a Board member of the Alliance of Nevada Non Profits, The Nevada Women’s History Projects and a member of the Foster-Grandparents Advisory Board. She is the supervisor for one of the largest AmeriCorps VISTA programs in Nevada.

Dex Thomas (Program Services Technician): Dex has been with WCSD for 8 years. He has a B.A. In Human Services/Management. Dex started working as a teacher assistant at Rita Cannan Elementary as a second job while working as the director of a foster care agency. There he worked with mainly the after school program helping the students learn technology and sports. After a few years he came to the WCSD fulltime as a Re-engagement specialist where he found students who were considered vanished students and helped the student get back on track for success in school and provide the needed resources for the family. He later moved to another position as an Outreach Specialist where he built relationships and partnerships with several community agencies and several district departments. Dex is excited about the opportunity to work with volunteer services and to help volunteers be prepared to work within the school district.
